Our Location

Just six miles northwest of Traverse City, Timberlee Hills is nestled in the rolling landscape of Leelanau County. Known for its picturesque views and warm welcomes, our region is home to a variety of destinations and activities for your guests to enjoy before and after your wedding day.

Visit Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore, taste prize-winning wines in Leelanau County or on Old Mission Peninsula, take a sunset cruise on Grand Traverse Bay, enjoy a day of shopping in downtown Traverse City, dine at one of the area’s top restaurants… the list goes on.

Our Venue

Surrounded by the natural beauty of northern Michigan, our outdoor ceremony space offers stunning panoramic views with the privacy you desire. Complete with perennial gardens, a waterfall, and pond, it’s a short walk from the lodge and its ample parking. If the weather doesn’t cooperate, a backup indoor ceremony site is also available.

After you say your “I dos,” it’s time to celebrate. Our recently updated, modern lodge has the versatility to meet the needs of every guest list. For parties of up to 70 people, our fireplace room offers a more intimate gathering spot. Our larger reception space and covered patio overlook the valley and, at a combined area of 4500 square feet, hosts up to 200 guests. If you’d rather keep everything in the fresh air, we can also accommodate outdoor receptions.

What’s Provided

You shouldn’t have to worry about logistics while you’re getting pampered with your closest friends, saying your vows to your partner, or getting down with your nieces and nephews on the dance floor.

Let us handle the basics while you relax and enjoy your big day. 

When you book your wedding at Timberlee Hills, you’ll receive wedding planning assistance, a staff member to coordinate your ceremony, and complete setup/teardown of chairs and tables. Additionally, we provide the following:

• Bridal suite
• Dance floor
• White linens
• Wedding arbor
• Use of the property for photos
• Access to the building prior to your wedding

Optional Enhancements

At Timberlee Hills, we want every bride, groom, and guest to have an unforgettable experience. In addition to the list of what’s automatically included with your venue rental, we offer a selection of add-ons for you to choose from:

• Late-night snack options – after your guests have literally danced out of their shoes, we’ve got the fuel to keep everyone going. We can provide freshly made, in-house popcorn, or s’mores.
• Guest activities – between cheers-ing, eating, and dancing, we’ve got your favorite outdoor yard games and a stocked bonfire pit for your guests to enjoy.
