When the snow flies, it’s time to grab your winter gear and get outside! Located just minutes from Traverse City, in beautiful Leelanau County, Timberlee Hills is Michigan’s largest no-lane snow tubing hill. (Freedom!)
From 4 to 84, we welcome people of all ages to beat the winter doldrums with an afternoon of outdoor fun. And there’s no experience or equipment needed!
Get comfy as you glide up the hill on the tow rope, then get ready for a thrill as you slide back down. So, bring your family or come with a big group of friends… The laughter is infectious and smiles are guaranteed!

Our snow tubing season is officially underway!
We’re now open during the following hours:
Fridays: 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Saturdays: 11:00 AM – 9:00 PM
Sundays: 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Please note: Hours are weather-dependent. We’ll post condition updates on social media Friday mornings so you can plan your visit accordingly.
Snow tubing tickets are good for an hour of fun. Buy yours ahead of time and get ready to send it on the snow.

Feeling Hungry?
After you’ve hollered yourself hoarse on the hill, come inside the lodge for a winter warm-up. Our full-service kitchen serves up pizzas, hot dogs, nachos, and more. And if you get thirsty, we’ve got the bar with beverages for the young and the young at heart.

The hill is groomed, the tow rope’s running, and the lodge is stocked.
Here are a few things to keep in mind when planning your visit:
❄️ Reservations are strongly recommended. Spots can fill up fast.
❄️ Dress for the weather. Warm layers, gloves, and boots are your best friends.
❄️ Bonus points for helmets and goggles!
❄️ Tubes are provided, just bring the good vibes!
❄️ Food and drinks are available on site, perfect for warming up after your time in the hill.
